of a past not so long ago..
felt like forever since it began..
years down the drain and for what?.
six to one was the ratio of the trade..
that was done for the peace that laid..
across all parties with the burden all mine..
the landscape placid, everything was fine..
I guess its true that no matter how you try..
paths intertwine and sometimes led askew..
but never regret the choice i made..
be born into this life anew..
